I grew up on a rocky island in Northern Ontario where the dramatic landscape and environment has given me a deep affinity with the natural world.
I often use found objects, mostly organic in nature, as research material.
Inherently drawn to the visual and aesthetic, I was drawn east, to the Maritimes, where I completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts program with Honours, at NSCAD University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Returning to Ontario, I entered the three year Jewellery and Metals program at Georgian College in Barrie, where I graduated with Honours.
Since 2003, I have pursued jewellery-smithing exclusively and work out of a studio-gallery with metalsmiths alike in Parkdale, Toronto, Canada.
I am a proud member of the Ontario Crafts Council (O.C.C), Metal Arts Guild of Canada (M.A.G), and Society of North American Goldsmiths (S.N.A.G).
